¦ Training request / background information: We frequently get requests to implement an education program for mid-level employees, but most of the trainings I find can become a boring routine. What I found interesting about smile seminar was its focus on understanding the relationship between communication and the power of appearance (expression, clothes, overall image), and learning it step-by-step via theory and practical training. I also chose smile seminar in the hopes of perpetuating positive mentality via smiling, which will surely make the communication seminar something memorable.

¦ Training request / background information: While I was looking for an expert on mental health education, I quickly became interested when I heard of a training called "smile therapy" that focuses on smiling. I've heard that smiling or laughing is healthy, and thought that we can utilize it in the work environment as well. Although it is an unusual approach to improving mental health, we received a lot of interests during the hearing before implementation.

¦ Training request / background information: At our company, we've been implementing mental health training since several years ago, as well as management training (line care training), but as we begun to offer education for the general employees, we began to look for something that can be put into practice everyday, and a lecture that can be fun to listen to, as well as promote active participation. The most convincing reason of why we opted for smile therapy was its theme of "smiling," which can brighten up the mood when talking about mental training, which in general, tends to make people dark and gloomy; people can participate in smile therapy without any hesitation, and it not only has emotional and physical effect on the participants via daily practice, but also improves internal and external communications as well.

¦ Training request / background information: A competitor opened a new store in the vicinity, resulting in loss of customers, and our store's overall energy started decreasing. I was looking for a training opportunity that addresses service as the basic message, and improve the store's atmosphere as well. I thought that if I tried incorporating too many concepts, people wouldn't be able to remember it all, so I decided to stick to a single concept of the power of a "smile." The most significant aspect of this training is that it perpetuates active participation, instead of a passive, more top-down approach.

¦ Training request / background information: Inquired after I found an article on smile therapy in magazines for nurses. We have education and training once a year, but I consulted the Smile Therapy Association to plan out a seminar that closely resembles my theme. I felt that it was a necessary skill for nurses who support patients and their families, as well as for doctors as well.
